Buenaventura International Affairs Director visited by the center
On January 28, 2020, Ms. Libya Moskara Reales, Director of International Affairs of Buenaventura, visited the center and conducted a survey and discussion on the use of virtual reality for urban simulation and universal education.
Director Realis introduced the basic situation of Buenaventura. As the busiest trading port in Colombia: the city where Buenaventura Port is located, Buenaventura has vibrant business activities and also has its own long tradition of urban culture. The main challenges facing cities at present include how to adapt to the global trend of port intelligence and the underdevelopment of some communities caused by the uneven economic status of urban residents.
The center’s co-director Luo Xun introduced the center’s promotion work in smart city simulation and large-scale online education using virtual reality at a reasonable cost, and gave a project demonstration. Director Realris said he was very interested in the implementation of these jobs in Buenaventura. Both parties will continue to maintain close work communication and seek opportunities for the implementation of the central project.
