To enhance international relations and outline collaborative activities for the current year (2024), Dr. Xun Luo, General Secretary David Mei, and Director of Operations Gustavo Alomía visited the Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá). They were warmly received by members of the Confucius Institute.
March 18 and 19, 2024, have been designated as the dates for the cultural exchange to be held at Santiago de Cali University. These activities will be supported by Director Mingjun Yuan, Coordinator Bei Tian, and Professor Peijie Yu from the Confucius Institute.
The main activities planned include a seminar on Chinese culture, allowing participants to engage in traditional Chinese practices such as calligraphy, Chinese origami, and paper cutting techniques.

The Connected Universal Experiences Labs has proposed to Rector Carlos Andrés a process of adaptation and internationalization for two rooms of the Aparthotel at USC, the proposal has been accepted and together with the Confucius Institute team, Chinese-themed decorations will be made in the rooms during the visit of the March 18 and 19, more details to be shared soon.
