The center coordinates and connects the Brazilian delegation's visit to China
As a Latin American cooperation hub for a new generation of information technology including virtual reality and visualization technologies, Kali (hereinafter referred to as the “center”) of the Internet of Intelligence Lab actively coordinates and docks the exchange of scientific and technological workers in Latin America with their Chinese counterparts. On October 15, 2019, the Center docked with the State Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems of China’s joint construction unit and received more than forty delegations from the Brazilian Association of University Managers (ABMES), including the principals of more than 20 universities , The head of Brazil’s major education group, as well as journalists and free media people.
The co-director of the center, Dr. Luo Xun, welcomed all members of the delegation. He said that China and Latin America have great potential for cooperation in the new generation of information technology, and virtual reality is one of the most representative technologies. The center is currently located in Colombia and covers the entire Latin American region, greatly facilitating the application of related technologies in Latin America. At the same time, the center is actively exploring the possibility of setting up physical office spaces in Brazil.
The head of the Brazilian delegation, Celso Nisker, chairman of ABMES, expressed his gratitude to the center for the coordination and support provided for this visit.
