The Cultural Exchange Seminar, which took place on March 18, was an enriching experience for the Santiago community of Universidad Santiago de Cali. Under the guidance of Director Mingjun Yuan, Coordinator Bei Tian and Professor Peijie Yu, from the Confucius Institute of Bogota, various cultural topics were discussed and aroused great interest. In addition to exploring the animals of the Chinese zodiac and the most representative traditions of China, guidelines were offered on proper table etiquette. In addition, some Mandarin Chinese characters were introduced, which generated particular enthusiasm among the participants. This initiative has strengthened cross-cultural ties and promoted a greater understanding of the rich Chinese heritage within the university community.
